Did you watch anything today? Obama called Mccain this morning and proposed an idea to do something to help the situation. Mccain made his statement first, doesnt mean he was the first to come up with it. </div></div>

You never fail to exhibit a great deal of political ignorance. Such is the nature of being young, impressionable and willing to believe anything a candidate says.

You love to tell others to 'research'. I suggest you heed your own advice.

IF Barry came up with this great idea, he would have not called McCain, he would have called a press conference this morning around 10AM and announced to the world that he was planning on suspending his campaign in order to go vote present in the Senate concerning the current financial problems.

If your wishful thinking was true, Barry would have never given McCain a chance to 'go first' as it were.

Did you watch the Saddleback discussion? I wasn't going to vote until I watched it. McCain spoke with conviction, Obama spoke from scripted memory - meaning he had to address the audience with a well-thought response, and since he doesn't have the ability to think well, his responses were void of meat and substance. So I don't don't know why McCain would be afraid to debate the nefarious one. That debate is what gave McCain a surge in the polls. Were I McCain, I would welcome any opportunity to debate him and slash his flip flopping ways to shreds.

Still think Mccain was watching somewheres, since he apparently was nowheres to be found when Obama was doing his interview or atleast not where he was supposed to be. Obama would/will tear him up in the debates, Mccain couldnt even win his own months ago with the other Rep..Ron Paul picked him apart. Biden will tear Palin up also IMO when their time comes. That is for the ones who look past Palins one liners/jokes and look at each answer to see if she gives a somewhat intelligent reply.

No wishful thinking, its the truth. By your argument Mccain would do the same wouldnt he? Then why would he call Obama and tell him about it and for them to make a joint statement on the issue? Don't you think Mccain would do the same also if he came up with this idea this morning?

Yep, you and your like-minded keep believing that. As far as McCain watching, go research that and bring me some proof.

You said a mouthful there! Naive voters ran Al Gore, who couldn't even win his own state or his old congressional district and then ran another as weak as Gore in Kerry. Did you expect them to beat ANYBODY? IMO it's a shame that out of 300 million people we have candidates as weak and pathetic that we have. Obama or McCain will run the nation into the ground with weak econonic stances and more of the same old big government that we have had from both parties for years. More illegal immigrants, more jobs lost to "free trade", more debt, more foreign policy flondering etc. I can't wait for the new government agency McCain is proposing to monitor the banking/mortgage sector! The government is responsible for the mess we're in IMO by forcing lenders to give a loan quota to those that couldn't afford it, no job but you can still get a loan? McCain said from the start he'd debate Obama anywhere anytime and Obama only agreed to a few. I know an opinions can't be wrong but if anyones ever could be it would be R13

Mccain will fold, thats what all this today was. Like I said he couldnt even win his own debates, no way he could with a speaker like Obama. And youve been on here a few weeks and you make a comment like that about me?
